MOVIES
Movies have a way of taking us away from our day-to-day struggles without knowing what hit us. They can bring laughter, tears, and
a new sense of freedom.
Chick Flicks
Say the words “chick flicks” to a man and he’ll run for cover. Say the same words to a woman and she’ll fall in love with any man
willing to sit through one with her on a regular basis. Seriously though, “chick flicks” are movies written for the female audience.
They’re sometimes comedic, sometimes profound, and sometimes action-filled, but they’re always romantic. In this section, we’re going
to take a look at “chick flicks” and share with you some of the defining moments in each film.
Family Movies
There’s too much violence and too many hard knocks in life, so when we look for family movies, we’re not just looking for G rated
films. We’re looking for films that inspire families to grow closer together, encourage children to be respectful and believe in
themselves, and anything that leaves us with an overall “feel good” moment. In this section, we’re going to take a look at films
geared towards the whole family as well as films geared towards children, alone.
Dramas
Dramas are usually hour long shows with a serious undertone. In this section, you’ll find a short synopsis,
a lesson learned, and a task for you.
Sitcoms
Sitcoms are usually half hour comedic dramas focused around several main characters. In this section, you’ll find a short synopsis,
a lesson learned, and a task for you.
Health and Fitness
Fitness videos are fantastic, low-cost alternatives to personal trainers and gyms but they can get dull and boring after awhile,
that's why it's important to keep an arsenal of videos at your fingertips--just to spice things up a bit.
